  2. I've purchased a number of Roseville pieces from you over the years and have always been very pleased. The blackberry vase is beautiful, but I was wondering about the amount of bleeding around some of the berries. This was a present for my mother, so I didn't really notice it in the picture, but you did clearly show that in your photos. Would you consider the amount of bleeding to negatively impact the value of the vase? – How would you describe our performance overall?

      Thanks for the email and feedback. The bleeding of the glaze doesn't negatively impact the value of the piece. It is basically a matter of preference. Some people actually prefer some bleeding or running to the glaze. Typically bleeding results when the glaze is thin so you get some running but on those pieces you usually also get more detail of the mold since the glaze is thin and in the case of the Blackberry pattern more detail on the berries and leaves. Which a lot of collectors view as a positive. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Listings are accurate, however, it would be a plus where possible to show the approximate manufactured date...given the long period of Roseville production it would be hard to pin down an actual date, but a nice-to-have nonetheless. Responses to questions on various pieces could be more punctual. Two small points, yes, overall I'm pleased with my various purchases. – How would you describe our performance overall?

      Thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to let you that the approximate year of production for all Roseville pottery patterns is included at the top of each category page. This link is an example from our Roseville Sunflower inventory. http://www.justartpottery.com/roseville-sunflower/165. The information is also contained on our shape number index page at this link www.justartpottery.com/Roseville_Shapes/default.htm. On this page if you click any of the Roseville pattern names you will get a list of shape numbers as well as the year the pattern was introduced.
